#1 Culture Shock
Today, I want to tell a story about my first culture shock in the US. When I first arrived in Chicago. I used CTA train a lot to explore the city. It happened on the train. I was on the train when a lady sat in front of me talking on the phone with her son. I heard her tell her son that she would love him no matter what. I was very shocked because Chinese parents rarely say love to their children. Especially in public. They usually show their love through their actions. American culture is really different from Chinese culture. I think it is an interesting culture.
